My wireless locks up every night and I have to reboot it. Any ideas as to what would cause it to lock up? It's a D-Link DL-540.

Not yet, figured I would try here first.

Yeah I know. Haven't had the time lately. Was hoping someone else had the problem and would be able to pop right up with something.

Thinking of going on the Atkins diet. Think it will cure the problem?

    Have you tried a "reset"?

Reset to factory defaults? I downloaded the latest driver last night, which reset everything. That didn't seem to work.

Probably just need to read up, kinda like Ken was saying.

If you have had any pwer outages or lightening srikes it could have taken a small hit. Not enough to completely damage it but enough to give some troubles.

    Just a possability.

I think the lightening could be what ail's it. I threw a phone away because it was buzzing (after a near storm). I played around and reset, and reset, and reset and loaded a new driver, and reloaded the driver........and for now (haven't checked today) it is working. Who knows.
