(Smithfield, NC) The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation will host the sixth annual Faith Festival at the Neuse River Amphitheater on Front Street in Downtown Smithfield, on Saturday, September 30, 2006. The free concert will be held from 5:00 PM till 10:00 PM with National Christian recording artist and headline band, Everyday Sunday performing material from their new album due out this fall, as well as their hits from Anthems For The Imperfect, and Stand Up. Up and coming national artist, Inhabited and hip hop artist Urban D will open. Everyday Sunday performance begins at 8:30 PM. “New Sound, New Faces, Same Lord” is again the theme for this year’s event. “The main goal of the event is to reach out to our youth and offer another type of entertainment with a positive Christian message. There is no cost to attend the concert. We are taking the approach that if we can change the life of just one young person, then it will all be worth it,” stated Chris Johnson, Executive Director, DSDC. Volunteers interested in helping the day of the event may contact the Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation at 919-934-0887. Or visit our web site at www.downtownsmithfield.com
Wow that sounds like a lot of fun. I will make sure that the youth from our church are there. They would all enjoy that a lot.
