2011 STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL

    I had one of these at the State Fair. I actually shared one with my husband. It was not good but mostly because it was cold. My brother said he made one at home and it was good. :lol: I've never wanted it bad enough to try it at home.

    i honestly have never seen this TV show but from what i understand it has a really great following and they will be signing autographs, etc.!!!!! Woohoo, real live TV stars at the Strawberry Festival this year:hurray:

    just got an update on the upcoming events - sounds like the Strawberry Festival is going to be bigger than ever this year:hurray::hurray:

    - Reality TV Lizard Lick Towing & Recovery and All Worked Up stars Ronnie, Amy & Bobby will be there between 9am - 3pm
    -Mr & Mrs Wolf the NC State mascots will be there from 12pm - 2pm
    -Muddy, the Mudcat mascot will also be making an appearance
    -Nascar's Nationwide Car and a race car simulator will be there
    -Indoor Skating & Soccer will be putting on demonstrations
    -there will be more Arts & Crafts booths than ever at the Festival

    This thing keeps growing they might have to find a bigger location - woohoo 4042:hurray::hurray:

    I may have missed this, but what time does the the festival start and end? We are hoping to go this year. We've never been before.

    9am - 4pm - opening ceremonies are at 9am - hope to see ya there:hurray:

    Dont they have a recipe contest with strawberries? If so where is the website to register?

    Thanks for checking Kaci. Darn! I have a white chocolate mouse torte with strawberries and a macadamia nut crust.

    YOu can drop it by my house I'll let you know if it's terrible or not. I may need 2 of them just incase. :mrgreen:

    Be sure to stop by the RE/MAX Southland Realty booth! We will have stuff for the kids and we are doing a 50/50 raffle to raise money for our local tornado victims!

    Not one of my prouder moments but the last time I was in Wyoming . . .

    Well, the critter wasn't using them anymore.

    Anyone know how much for the kids "rides" this year?

    not sure for individual but you can buy the all day pass for $20 for the first one & $15 each for each additional that give unlimited rides all day, first time they've done this but i love it, i usually spend more than that with my grandkids
