The banks must have a lot of money to lend, because I agree...I've never seen so many banks springing up. Clayton has them on every corner and so does Garner. As for the new Wal-Mart in Garner...good gosh they need it. The current one...talk about substandard. Its like 20 years past its prime. Its comparable to the old one in Smithfield. Remember when it used to be where Belk and Goody's are now??? I'm not sure why its taken so long for Wal-Mart to build one in Garner. I guess they figured between Clayton and Fuquay, they didn't really need to rush this one. At one time, there was talk about the current Wal-Mart becoming a Sam's Club. Any word on that?
