Kaci, It is way harder than people think. I can lose weight at the drop of a hat but have a hard time gaining. Been so sick recently that I must gain ten pounds quickly. I need to at least weigh 100 pounds but am somewhere around 90 right now. I really need suggestions. People think it's funny but with bone density and all I need to keep myself around 100 pounds, if possible. Eating cookies now, Sherry
Sorry girl, didn't mean to make fun and i realize that for some people gaining weight is just as hard as losing weight for most of us. One suggestion would be those liquid drinks they give the elderly (not saying you are elderly:lol or the ill to help them maintain weight, can't think of the name but they are packed full of nutrients and necessary fats, etc.
ENSURE!!! but I say screw that...go to Cook Out and get a milkkshake a day....if that don't fatten you up, nothing will. get an order of fries to go with it!
Kaci, I have never ever thought of you as mean nor did I when you commented. You are probably one of the nicest people around. Anyhow, what you are talking about I think is Ensure, which is the only thing, other than hot tea, that has gone into my mother in seven years. I tried some of hers and I'd rather let the weight build up slowly than drink it. Not a mean bone in your body, Sherry
Sherry - In all seriousness, I have a niece who was born very preemie, and as a baby, then toddler, had trouble gaining weight. Her pediatrician told the parents to give her milkshakes, so I'd start there. I sure wish a doctor would prescribe me ice cream for a diet!!
