We go to Growing Child Pediatrics in Clayton. They've always been great about prescibing medicine - especially for ear infections which my kids get at least twice a year.
I second Kids Care. Dr. Bliss is AWESOME! ... been seeing her for 10½ years. They have an office at 4042 and Smithfield.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Should have had like 90 kids! Just got back from hanging out with my nephew (FB pix BTW), Oh man! I'll post them here tomorrow. He's growing like a damn WEED!!!! :? Love ya'll, see ya in the am! :hurray:
Saw one of those papers named the Slammer, I think, yesterday. Some rough looking people in that thing. Just looking at it gave me the willies. Sherry
My fav pic is the one of you sleeping with him on your shoulder... just precious! Next fav is the one with the TV in the background and him holding back the baby puke.
OMG poor baby!!! Girl I wish I got on here and seen this over the weekend. Have you ever tried the Minute Clinic at CVS at McGee's X-roads? I did that once with kiddo and it was awesome. And if I'm not mistaken they take down to ages 6 weeks. Click on the type of illness you think you have to see when they would refer you to a PCP. http://minuteclinic.com/en/USA/Treatment-and-Cost.aspx After looking at the map, it looks like the CVS at McGee's no longer has the MinClinic there. But Hwy42 does. http://minuteclinic.com/en/USA/NC/Raleigh-Durham/Garner-Highway-42.aspx Is she feeling better? Did you get her some meds?
Craig..know how ya feel. C6 and I thought about heading there to sub teach. There are so many retired educators there that there's a waiting list to get on the list to be certified as a sub. They have the highest percentage of Ph.D and Masters level subs than anywhere else. If I'm a retired teacher, and the school system from which I retired is paying X dollars, and I can get 90 bucks a day as a sub, with no administrative requirements..lesson planning, parent conferences, bus duty..what's not to like?
Short version (cause I'm swamped today).... Kiddo feels better, Dr was probably right and I was probably wrong, but it still ticked me off. I tend to get a little hot-headed where my kids are concerned....lol That's all for now........
