bake a cake in two bowls and decorate from there - it did turn out pretty cool even though i was doing it at 3am in the morning:lol: just got home a bit ago from VA and the boys are all still out celebrating the bachelor party - hope they are having a great but safe time:hurray:
My house had been clean for 3 days. The kids have been home 1/2 a day and it's a mess again! Doesn't take them long. *sigh*
You can keep it clean when they are grown and gone...for now, enjoy them and the messes they create. It passes quickly!
Amen. When the kids are gone, we'll miss those messes. Its funny, I have a female friend who remarked at a visit to my home yesterday that I was a 'neat freak'. My hubby let her know that I'm not. Its just that the public areas of my home are always clean when my friends visit. The kids keep their toys & messes in the 2 rooms they share. Don't friends know that when we know they are coming, we do the mad dash around the house to pick up before they get here? LOL
That's what happens here! Between our 10 year old, 2 cats and a dog, there is ALWAYS a mad dash at the last minute if we have anyone coming over.
Have you tried the home remedies for drying it out? Whatever you do, don't turn it on til it's dry! Good luck!
