I can cook really good chili in less than 30 minutes. I use that Bush's Chili Magic chili starter. I'm serious. I made it one time for my mom and didn't tell her it wasn't cooking all day and she loved it. You just add ground beef and tomatoes (and onions if you like - which I don't) to the starter and let it simmer for 10 minutes and it's awesome. My hubby loves it too. We add cheese and sour cream, with some corn bread on the side. Yum. Now, I'm hungry.
I have used the Bush mix before also... I still like my chili to simmer cook all day,,, but in a pinch that"ll work just swell.... :lol::lol: Crazy Dean Master Cook... :jester:
My stove wouldn't know how to react to something simmering on it all day. Just like my oven wouldn't know how to react to anything homemade. :jester: Nah, I'm not that bad. I've made a few things from scratch. Very few.
