OMG i used to love GH, used to run from the busstop home after school to get to see it. i heard Brenda is back, i remember when she first came and when she supposedly was dying from some rare disease - tells ya how old i am:lol:
how awesome is it to be able to open the windows and shut off the ac - we seriously could not have asked for a more beautiful weekend
I am sure that over half of them are spammers, although occasionally I am on late, but typically in another time zone.
Thank you. So sad about that girl but interesting that you were in the area. Didn't know you had run across this group in your travels. Proud of you for the salute you gave them. Sherry
My sister is about to have kidney surgery AGAIN. Bless her heart, I hope it goes well. She's had nothing to eat or drink all day today while they waited for an OR to open up, admitted from the ER at 2:00 am this morning. If it ain't one thing it's something else.
Thanks Brenda!! She has a 6 mm stone in her "good" kidney, blocking important stuff. That is HUGE!!!! It wasn't there 6 months ago. She doesn't drink soda or anything, can't figure it out.
She'll live, LOL, she just doesn't much feel like it at the moment. She was supposed to get out of the hosp today and that ain't happening, her kidney specialist won't let her go home yet. She has to have more IV antibiotics. Was supposed to have the lithotropsy on Friday and they are going to make her wait another week. She had a bad, bad night for pain. She's no wuss either, she had her daughter at home with a midwife, so it ain't like she's a whiner. Thank you all for the kind words and the prayers! :grouphug:
Being the "onsite" IT guy I never really realized just how much crap I really do here till today when I started showing our stuff to our newly hired true IT guy.
