A friend of my wife and I lost her husband a few years ago in a vehicle accident. She already had a few children and was about eight months pregnant. What did she do? She didn't become embittered toward God for what happen. She went to Him and also surrounded herself with those that cared for both her and the kids.

She will needs a lot of support from family, friends and the community. Get the local newspaper involved and maybe even a radio or TV station. Keep us posted on how this develops, particularly of any fundraisers the community might do for her. Getting her story out will be the greatest way to help rally support for her.

 

Where is Steve?

 

He got banned a week or so ago. There was some crap in the political pit that got out of hand.

Finally wore out my rear bicycle tire...rode it down to the threads unraveling. (Front is next.) Lost count exactly how many miles that equates to, but somewhere around 5k. I went for so many years without riding and I've probably road more in the last three than I ever did when I was little.

 

I know how you all must be feeling right now. :cry:

 

Please keep us posted on this family. I missed this before but when I reread your post it looks like they had only been married a year and their anniversary would have been the day after he died? I can't imagine how horrible it would be her. I will be praying for his wife.
