That's horrible. I have a friend who just found out she has ovarian cancer. She has to have the abdominal chemo which I heard is awful. I feel so bad for those close to us who are suffering with cancer or other illnesses. It makes me ashamed of the silly things that I complain about.
It taught me a valuable lesson on taking things for granted. I though my mom was super woman. My dad to this day hasn't changed the answering machine. So when I get down and out I will call and listen to her ask people to have a blessed day and leave a message. It's hard to hear but at the same time. It's awesome.
Just sitting here thinkin ... Everybody is so quick to judge the silly rabbit for his inability to grasp the concept that Trix are for kids... But no one wants to take the time to ask the rabbit how old he is. He may be age appropriate in rabbit-years. Just a thought.
The Trix Rabbit was "born" in 1959. That would make him 53 years old. The normal lifespan of a domesticated rabbit is about 10 years. Compare that to a human whose life span is about 75 years and you can figure a good rule of thumb is 7.5 rabbit years to 1 human year. Calculating out, that means the Trix Rabbit is the equivalent of about 397 years old (in rabbit years). Either way you want to slice it, the Trix Rabbit is definitely not a "kid"
 I always felt sorry for the rabbit. I never liked those commercials! Let the damn rabbit have his Trix!
Well I reckon if the average lifespan of a rabbit is 10 years and he was born in 1959 then we've gone through 6 rabbits; with the latest one being around 3 years old... give him some dang Trix.
