I tried that once and learned that wallpaper is the root of all evil.

Just paint and move on, step away from the wallpaper..........

 

Its the preparing the wall to paint. I just got done sanding the crap that they had under the paint, taped and started to put the drop cloth down and said to heck w/ this i am taking a break lol. DH gonna wonder why the wall is still the same color! lol

 

try to wallpaper a closet wall that nobody will see... you'll change your mind REAL quick!

The children stuck to the floor

He'd stuck it wrong way up and now, we all walk upside down.
And when he trimm'd the edging off the paper with the shears,
The cat got underneath it, and dad cut off both its ears.

Soon dad fell down the stairs and dropp'd his paperhanger's can
On little Henrietta sitting there with her young man,
The paste stuck them together, as we thought t'would be for life,
We had to fetch the parson in to make them man and wife.

We're never going to move away from that house any more
For Father's gone and stuck the chairs and table to the floor,
We can't find our piano, though it's broad and rather tall,
We think that it's behind the paper Pa stuck on the wall.

Now, Father's sticking in the pub, through treading in the paste,
And all the family's so upset, they've all gone pasty faced.
While Pa says, now that Ma has spread the news from north to south,
He wishes he had dropped a blob of paste in Mother's mouth.

Well I am pleasantly suprised. We have the builders beige all through out the house. Got one wall done in the living room. Light mauve. I love it. livens it up in there matches the furniture. woo hoo.

Koo not papering or painting any dang closets LOL no one will see it but us!

 

LOL... ok - ok. I would suggest to NOT paper any walls unless you want to loose your mind on purpose! I tried to wallpaper a bathroom once in my old house, I figured easy enough - it's a bathroom! ...yeah that was just NUTS! :lol: Follow Jennifer's advice. Step away from the wallpaper!!

 

The only thing I am gonna do with wallpaper is strip it. I tried hanging it once. oo that was no fun!

 

a border? that isnt' too hard... you do need 4 arms but buy someone a 6 pack or blackmail one of you kids... I am sure you will get a volunteer! :lol:
