Total bummer, we were planning on going to lake this weekend with some friends but DH has to work the whole weekend:evil: i don't think we will ever be able to get away without kids for the next forseeable future:cry:

A ha! I'm a "motorcycle" widow this weekend. DH left Thurs and won't be back till tomorrow............must be nice! And I felt guilty for taking Sat to myself last weekend.

 

Why do warmed over potatos taste funky, even out of the microwave. Anyone know how to avoid that??:evil:

NC Seafood Festival

Just reporting that the NC Seafood Festival was very fun. I think there were more educational booths & more civic food vendors this year. (Like HS groups selling food, Boy Scouts, American Legion, etc. Not just the "in it for the $$$" traveling carny food booths.)

Nice weather, lots of music and food!

We were going to go Sat night, but stayed out on the boat and when we got in we went a head and cleaned the fish we caught. Drove by Sunday, but we were nasty from getting off the boat. :mrgreen:
