I never perused the personals on Craig's List before. Veeerrrry interesting. Lots of freaks out there. Seriously, who is sitting at home on Saturday afternoon and says "I need a date. I know. I'll go post a picture of my penis on CL. See if I can get some action tonight. I'll even put my face in there, so my co-workers/neighbors/friends/family can see what a freak I am, too." I mean, certainly there are more discreet venues for this. <off to bleach my eyes>
LMAO thanks! Is it that bad? Do they allow you to post naked pictures? I would think that would be a no no.
They're on there, so I guess they allow them. I stumbled upon them once. Won't go there again! :ack: I can't believe people would do that and show they're face and all - the ones I saw looked like they were advertising - isn't that against the law?
If the kids say they're 18 and they're not, then they are lying and Craig's List cannot be held liable. Just one more reason for parents to monitor their children's Internet usage.
Tee-Hee, I am finishing off my son's leftover lasagna from La Piazza. Damn that's some good lasagna. It did not dry out when reheated.
Here are the lyrics! Well a man, come on Six o'clock news Says somebody been shot Somebody's been abused Somebody blew up a building Somebody stole their car Somebody got away Somebody didn't get too far, yeah They didn't get too far Grandpappy told my pappy Back in my day, son A man had to answer For the wicked thing he done Take all the rope in Texas Find a tall oak tree Round up all of them bad boys And hang 'em high in the street For all the people to see And justice is the one thing You should always find You gotta saddle up your boys You gotta draw a hard line When the gun smoke settles We'll sing a victory tune And we'll all meet back At the local saloon We'll raises up our glasses Against evil forces Singing, "Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses!" We got too many gangsters Doing dirty deeds Too much corruption And crime in the streets It's time the long arm of the law Put a few more in the ground Send them all to their Maker And he'll set them on down You can bet, He'll set 'em down Cause justice is the one thing You should always find You gotta saddle up your boys You gotta draw a hard line When the gunsmoke settles We'll sing a victory tune And we'll all meet back At the local saloon And we'll raise up our glasses Against evil forces Singing, "Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses!" Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses! You know justice is the one thing You should always find You gotta saddle up your boys You gotta draw a hard line When the gunsmoke settles We'll sing a victory tune And we'll all met back At the local saloon We'll raise up our glasses Against evil forces Singing, "Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses!" Singing ,"Whiskey for my men, beer for my horses!'
Three generations of women live in our house and most of the time it is wonderful. My mother and I are like day and night. She is the Southern Belle, who would never let anyone see her without makeup, while I have only worn makeup a couple of times in my life and believe that the whole world would be better if we all wore blue jeans/shorts and tee shirts. I know that she gave birth to me and wiped my fanny but it is hard when I must do the later to her. She gets mad if I ask her if she needs help, but I know she needs it. She gets mad if I have items around to help her get through these years but she must have them. It seems as though she stays angry with me over everything nowadays but I just don't know what to do. I love her and hate her at the same time and it makes me feel useless and like a bad daughter. I don't know if this is the way it is supposed to be or not but I am glad to have all of you when I cannot or must not leave the house and need some adults (okay just some of you) to talk to, laugh with, discuss issues and yes, debate. Thanks, Grace
Lafave/Beasley may be deemed "too pretty for jail" but I am guessing she ain't too smart to last another entire year without incident.
My sis-in-law keeps care of their mother at home also. She is bed or chair bound. I help as much as I can with changing and moving her. I helped in a rest/nursing home with SIL years ago so alot of it I remember. She tells me that if anything should happen to her (SIL), that I would be the only other person in the family that would have sense enough to keep on and know what to do. She gets aggravated at times and I think my MIL gets aggravated with herself cause she feels like she is a burden. But none of us look at it like that. It's hard on SIL but she wouldn't have it any other way. Now, I know how some feel about biblical statemants but I'm going to say it anyway. It does say in the bible to "honor thy father and they mother that your days may be long upon the earth." Grace, you and my SIL have special places in the heart of God for what you are doing. You will have a very special reward.........:hurray::grouphug::hurray:
