Moms gotta brag - humor me I just have to brag on my kids. Today is my oldest son's birthday. This morning, my teenage daughter got up early, got her sister and her other little brother up and they all 3 made pancakes to surprise their brother. They had me call Dad and put him on speaker phone and we all sang happy birthday to him. They even put a candle in his "stack" of pancakes and lit it. It just warmed my heart as a Mom to see my children working together to show love for their sibling. Sniff, Sniff! I love my babies!! Had to share
Oh Man!!! I bet!!!! Next year DOUBLE DIGITS!!!! 8) Oh..those were the days when you actually looked forward to Birthdays!!!!
thanks! I am not sure who or what it is....I just googled 'girl on the moon' and that came up and I liked it.
New song for the day that's in my head. In the jungle the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight.... SING IT WITH ME FOLKS!
Thank you! I tell ya, it makes you feel good when they do stuff like that. DH and I have always been very adoment that our kids would love each other and treat each other well and especially to always have each other's back. Some days when they fuss and say mean stuff to each other it makes me wonder if we are getting through. But then, they go and do something like this. It's one of those "Okay, maybe we ARE doing SOMEthing right here" moments, ya know. Yep, double digits soon. DD#1 is already a teen. DD#2 is a tween. I realized this morning that DS#1 (now that he is nine) is edging ever closer to the puberty stage. I've got the female thing down now but the male version kinda skeers me:?:lol::lol: Oh well, he's my sweet little man for now and I'm gonna enjoy him. Still got his little brother to go too.
I'll sing with ya Koo Ahhhh Weeeeeeeeeeeee da dee da dee dum dum aa waaaay That was a favorite of mine and DD#1 when she was a toddler. It was just the two of us while Dad was at work and I'd hold her and dance around the house singing that in my loudest voice. She laughed the whole time. Ahhhh...the memories. Now she wears the same size shoe as me
