Drury Inn update from Jan 2020

Site work, paving and new construction of a hospitality development in Garner, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a 180-room hospitality development.
The owner will serve as the general contractor. Information regarding subcontractor bidding opportunities has not been released. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to commence prior to summer 2020.

I thought they sold it to a new company?

According to county records, March 2020 the property was purchased by GARNER EXCHANGE LLC. It used to be owned by the DRURY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION.

maybe drury sold land for cash flow and will still brand and manage. ???

As of April 28, 2021, this project is on hold. Construction is not expected to begin before 2023.
