If I understand right, they have to be under 21...at least that is what DD told me. Her BF will be 21 in a few mos (she will be 18 this year) and he won't be able to take her to the prom because of the age.

My ex husband went to the prom with a 17 year old when he was 25. Of course that was almost 20 yrs ago. Sick if you ask me. I would never allow my daughter to date someone that old.
