We enjoyed the show. The band was great. Donnie Lee Strickland is a talented singer. The comedian was very funny. One of our friends made the comment that he "had to keep reminding mimself that he was in Johnston County. he really enjoyed the show". We have been to several American Music Jubilee shows in Selma. Several years ago their lead singer was Tina Cash. Tina was on WRAL at one time. She was an excellent. I believe she now lives in the Fuquay area. Not sure what her married name is? The current female singers are not as good as Tina but we enjoyed their vocals. Median age of audience was probably 70. We will return for future shows. We love to support our Johnston County businesses.
God forbid you have an opinion and voice it. If you didn't like it and said you did now wouldn't that be called lying? And isn't there a commandment that says something about lying? :? Anywho... moving along.
Cash is her current married name. Her former married name (she was widowed) was Seldon, which is what she was when she was on WRAL. I'm pretty sure that she goes by Tina Seldon Cash now.
"Cash is her current married name. Her former married name (she was widowed) was Seldon, which is what she was when she was on WRAL. I'm pretty sure that she goes by Tina Seldon Cash now." Thanks. I knew there was Tina & Cash in her name. Just could not remember the Seldon. Tina was a talented lady. At one time she was entertaining school children in the schools when she was not performing in Selma. She raised the level of the Selma show when she was there.
Weeelll... I look at it as more like fibbing. Ya know, a little white lie. Like "How was the pate?" "Oh. Delish" <gag gag gag>. But, faux pas on my part to post my not so nice review where my hostess' hubby might read it. Glad everybody else enjoyed it, just not my thing. I guess I'll just take Tfisher's advice and stay home next time... or crash guy's night out at the Honeycomb Hideout. 8) See you then, T!
