    its left out of the diagram aint it. as far as the future goes, maybe service and quality wont decline much more. gas, cigarettes, and beer anyone?

    Rocky, can you hang a left at 8 or 9 in the morning ? Fixing to be more houses in 2/3 years or so.

    It's actually refreshing to see them getting out front on this instead of waiting like they usually do until it's too late!

    I worry about how our fire, ems, and sherriffs office will handle all the additional calls. We really need our own PD, with just a couple holding cells and transport to JoCo jail if needed.

    Like an Oreilly? Isn't that what is being built by Walmart? There's already 2 AutoZones and 2 Advance Auto parts in the area as well. We need more than 6 in the area?

    REZONING PETITION:
    Petition to rezone 164.8 acres located along Cornwallis Road (SR 1525) in Cleveland Township from Agricultural Residential (AR) to Agricultural Residential – Special Use District (AR-SUD). Tax ID: 05F02001E, 05F02001B, 05F02002A Owner: Kenneth and Dawn Lucas Applicant: CE Group, Mark Ashness The Planning Board recommends APPROVAL of the Rezoning request and submits to the Board of Commissioners a proposed Statement of Consistency for adoption based on the recommendation for approval.

    The only good thing I see from this is they are going to put a traffic light in at Cornwallis and Winston. Trying to make a left off of Winston onto Cornwallis after 3pm is next to impossible. According to minutes of the meeting there have been 5 deaths at that corner! This development is for another 244 homes. With all the new subdivisions being built along Cornwallis it will soon be nothing but a huge parking lot.

    Word. If anyone in the Planning Department or NCDOT has a lick of sense they'll find a way to make this connect Winston Rd. to New Bethel and provide new ingress/egress to Garner to help relieve some traffic.
