I'm just going to stay away from everyone.....................

BTW..........do those paper masks actually DO anything? I'm thinking it doesn't do a thing for an airborne virus????

It had to have come from some people in Mexico, right?

I'm worried about my husband who works off duty at a club that has a majority of Mexican patrons and who knows if they have just come back from visiting there. That is a crowded place and lots of exposure. Maybe he needs to wear a mask the next time he goes.

I think it would since coughing and sneezing is what spreads the germs outward and it would enter your body the same way, so if you're wearing one and you're around someone who's coughing etc (not knowing if they're infected or not) then you wouldn't breathe in the germs.

I think since virus' are so tiny, that the paper masks don't stop them. Bacteria, yes, but not so sure about a virus. Hope I'm wrong.

Sticking with washing hands a LOT.

I think you're right, I heard on TV last night that those masks don't stop the virus. Can't remember what program, sorry. Hand washing is always good.

I know, but the chances that some Mexicans have carried into the country are pretty good as well.

Looks like so far none of the NC cases have tested positive.

Of course, this is the same Dr. Engel we were discussing earlier in this thread, so let's just hope he's got this one right.

This particular test is not as controversial as the Lyme test. I'm positive that Dr. Engel's knowledge on this subject is better than Lyme.

My daughter attends Polenta Elementary School and she came home and told us that there is a mexican student who is sick with the swine flu and that the parents are keeping the child out of school, but this is extremely worrisome as to should we send our daughter to school or just keep her home. Any suggestions????????
