I'm a daddy's girl. I didn't realize it til I was all grown up (honestly, I think I was around 30 when I realized it!) even though the signs were there - I could make him laugh when he was in a bad mood, he could never stay mad at me, he'd always tell me to "stay sweet" when we'd end a phone call ... Dad turns 80 this year (well, 79 if you ask him - he's decided he's not celebrating any more birthdays). I'm very fortunate, and very proud to be a Daddy's Girl! Love these songs!!
A great one from John Fogerty which he wrote for his little girl. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTu2wNPp3E8
Thanks for this post! I was planning to have my daughter record a song for her dad for fathers day & this was sooo helpful!!! I love Daddys hands but wanted something different
You and Me and Time - George and Georgette Jones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICdDGZphspA I love this song! Thought it would be a good addition to the list.
Can a gum commercial make you cry? A great "Daddy's Girl" video! http://www.wimp.com/gumcry/ Definitely gets a lump in my throat! I often write/wrote my DD (now a freshman at NCSU) sticky notes each morning b4 I went to work. She has saved them in a journal all these years.
She's a Daddy's Girl for sure! Father/Daughter Team do a great job on a great song. I can see why after only 3 weeks they have over 3 million views.
