Hopefully he will be caught soon - if he hasn't been caught already: Bank Robber Identified, Accomplice Arrested - The search continues for a man who robbed the First Citizens Bank on Glen Road at the I-40/NC42 interchange Tuesday afternoon. With the help of the FBI, Johnston County deputies have identified the accused bank robber as 42-year-old Raymond Lee Dean III of Fuquay-Varina. He is also a suspect in a robbery at First Citizens Bank on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh last Friday. Early Wednesday, Dean’s girlfriend, Lisa Joan Beach, 44, of Washington , NC was arrested at her home in Martin County and charged with aiding and abetting armed robbery. The getaway car reportedly used in the robbery was also recovered at her home. Dean was spotted in Rocky Mount on Wednesday morning, according to Johnston County Sheriff’s Captain Buck Pipkin. Dean, who is still at large, is considered to be armed and extremely dangerous. It was also good to hear that the other area robber was captured: Suspect In Two County Crime Spree Captured In Lumberton - A Johnston County man wanted for three robberies in 15 hours in two counties was apprehended at a motel in Lumberton . Acting on a tip, Lumberton Police arrested 28-year-old John Marshall Rhodes when he walked outside his motel room. Rhodes is accused of robbing the Scotchman convenience store on Highway 210 at I-40 on Monday night. Early Tuesday, Rhodes allegedly robbed Saddler’s Truck Stop on I-95, then the BB&T Bank on Cumberland Street in Dunn. Rhodes, who has addresses in Benson, Smithfield and Raleigh , is being held in the Harnett County Jail under an $850,000 bond.
