Raleigh is closer than Benson. It is absolutely in the area. Go through Garner.

I, for one, am not driving to Benson for food, much less anything else.

And if we want good food, not mediocre, then we don't mind driving to Raleigh. That's where the good food is....plain and simple. :)

I suppose it would all depend on who is giving the shave and massage.

After hearing about the rodent problem at the one in Raleigh, and how management fired the woman/employee who blew the whistle to the health inspector and WRAL on them... I won't eat there.... I've always thought the one is Clayton was "scary" and getting worse all the time from what I hear...

The closest I find to that around is a few Pizzeria Uno - Chicago Style pizza's. I know there is one at BrierCreek, and one at Myrtle Beach.. used to be one at the Concorde Mills Outlet Mall, but it closed.. We have them up north, and they're deepdish pizza is the best I've found from Boston to here.

Well my reasoning is I did live in Clayton....and to be exact I lived in between Clayton and Knightdale in Riverwood. So to me Raleigh was closer than Benson. I forget you country folk in the 40/42 area.

have you been talking to my Doctor? How did you know I had multiple personalities? Does it show?

Well, from the intersection of I-40 and Hwy 42, as the crow flies, downtown Raleigh is closer than Benson. Also, as the crow flies, the city limits of Raleigh is closer to the intersection of I-40 and Hwy 42 than the city limits of Benson is.

Even driving distance, I cannot see any route you can take from the intersection of I-40 and Hwy 42 that would be shorter to Benson than to Raleigh (either downtown or city limits).

If you notice the site is "4042", not "devilock76's place" and the original post did say "in the 40/42 area", not "in devilock76's area".

But, if you don't believe me, take a look at MapQuest.

Ok, let's take your link and find driving distance ("Closer" is a measurement of distance, not time. That would be "sooner")

    To Raleigh - 17.3 miles

    To Benson - 18.2 miles

In theory, theory and practice are the same, in practice they are not.
