If you like Tarantino: The prequel to Desperado, "El Mariachi". Also, "Ichi: The Killer" And if your really want to trip balls/get arthouse: "The Holy Mountain" and "El Topo" by Alejandro Jodrowsky. Also arthouse: "Begotten" I got so scared I had to call the girlfriend over to watch the rest of it.

IMO only: Best comedy (B/W): Arsenic and Old Lace Best comedy (color): Animal House, with Caddyshack a close second Best SciFi: The Fifth Element (please don't flame me Star Wars fans) Best Drama: Last of the Mohicans (the Daniel Day Lewis one filmed in the NC mountains)-probably my favorite movie, period. Best horror: Halloween (1978)--no blood, but still scary. Best animated (traditional): The Rescuers--saw it as a kid, still love it. Best animated (CGI): The Incredibles

My all time favorite movie is The Breakfast Club. Coming in next would be chick flic favorites such as; Pretty Woman,Steel Magnolia's, The Notebook I also like Shawshank Redemption, and The Green Mile (but I can't watch this one late at night).
