Mr. Watson is confirmed as missing. He spoke with his wife at about 10 this morning. The explosion/collapse occurred just after 11. Still no news at the 5 pm news brief.
Two confirmed fatalities per WRAL just now:cry: One female is all they said. Still searching for the third missing...
I so hate to ask this Hat but any word on your friend God bless and comfort you and his friends and family at this time
thoughts and prayers to these families...:grouphug: I was at WakeMed all day visiting a friend who had a hip replacement, and we could hear all the trauma and code calls... We were praying that no one was seriously hurt, I am so sorry for these families...
Shar, I'm saddened to have to say that he was the third person for whom they were looking. Along with his family, we were holding out hope that there was a miracle for him. It turned out not to be. He left behind a loving family. I saw his wife at school daily, having lunch with C6's kids. I'm sure she is devastated. As we learn more, and, most importantly, what we can do for the family, I'll let you know. Hug those you love and tell them you love them. None of us know our time to come.
Oh my...I am so sorry for your/their loss.... Please let me know if there is anything I can do... prayers go out for you...(((hugs))) I cherish each and every day that I get with my family and friends, and I am sure that this tragedy will open the eyes of some that may take life for granted sometimes...
I can tell you from workers that have worked on this building the roof was very dangerous they said when you walk across it it moved up & down....they kept on adding and adding to this building with no real structural support My heart goes out To Ms. Terri she is a great woman & has a great family I am so sorry for her loss & the pulley family as well. To all those that were involved in this matter I am truly sorry
I've heard similar stories. I guess if it was an explosion it really didn't matter how structurally sound the building was. Sad all around.
