I didn't say I didn't love him. I just said I wouldn't be inclined to interfere with perhaps what God may be doing to get his attention.

That's OK, I might just have to walk back or something....;)

So, does this mean a "true" Christian should never interfere with God's plan? Don't go to the doctor because you may need to be sick as part of the plan. Don't bother stopping for that traffic light as that may interfere too?

    Yep.

Silly/unlearned questions/speculations only generate silly answers. I'll spare you mine.

But how do you know what God's plans are since it seems to be a secret from us?

Why stop now? I really want to know how you determine what is part of God's plan and what is not.

You don't know Him and therefore don't belong to Him. Why should He reveal His plans to you?
What I say you won't understand and will only mock. I won't waste my typing.

Suffice to say, at the end of your life you will find yourself where He isn't... with no appeal.

I have not mocked you on here. I have stayed out of all of your threads until now. But carry on.....

And why should you care about any Christian overlooking a simple prayer request, if not to mock or accuse?

Its ok Ormly. You're looking for another argument and I'm not going to stoop to your level.

I never said that He should, but only asked how YOU knew what His plans were. The "us" was a reference to mere mortal humans, which I would assume includes you.

Of course you would not want to waste time typing if you cannot give a realistic answer. One might assume you have been in direct communication and been given the secrets of the ages or were just arrogant enough to believe you were somehow more knowledgeable than anyone else based on your assumptions.

Possibly, but then again you may find out you were lacking as well. You have only your narrow views from which to draw conclusions.

To show them the error of their ways in the hope that would put them back onto the correct path would be one possibility you ignore. ;)

A little inconsistent, perhaps? A poster makes a simple request for prayer, which you ignore in your quest to show how high and mighty you are, then when she calls it to your attention, how do you react?

You accuse her of mocking as an excuse for ignoring her prayer request, and then when she points out that she has not mocked you, you accuse her of making the request for the purpose of mocking?

I am thankful that most users of this forum recognize that you do not speak for all Christians.

No I'm not. You just stumbed into an area you aren't prepared to defend..

True, however, it doesn't include you.

Wrong! I am not as arrogant as you and more knowledgable about God as being my Father.

And I have reason to believe I am secure in them. I have the evidence of my conclusions. You have no reasoning with which to conclude. You have nothing.

You are going to show what??! You are going to put them back onto a correct what??!

You, who are dead, propose to show the living how to function??

    Go figure!

 Why should anyone need to defend a simple prayer request?

Cool, you believe I am not mortal? With your "inside information" I must say that is interesting to hear. What type of immortal or supernatural being do you believe I might be? I could be Homo superior but you do not strike me as one who believes in the next step of evolution.

Yet you cannot explain how you would know His plans regarding me or anyone else? Strange to be so full of ... knowledge and only share ignorance with the rest of us.

Yes, but as we know the mere mortal human cannot comprehend the plan of God so you may still be surprised. ;)

you wanted evidence of your intolerance? well, there it is. i'd say it's evidence of some elitism as well. wouldn't all the people of earth be god's children, christian or not?

strange, that's very reminiscent of KARMA. what a totally non-christian logic sequence...

I am going to show you how to read a sentence correctly. Your lack of comprehension led you to say I was going to show you something when that was never stated. You have assumed incorrectly on such a simple aspect it may make one wonder where else you have also made incorrect assumptions.

I am dead and contacting you from the Underworld, the Elysian Fields Valhalla, or wherever one may choose to believe? I did not think my Internet connection was THAT good.

Nah, I will just go poke trolls with the sharp stick of logic every now and again ... it is cruel at times but fun nevertheless.
