My family always called it Beaufort Stew. I've also heard it called Frogmore Stew. It was always fun to make. My parents have a little place out at Lands End near Beaufort, SC and many of the beach neighbors are folks who retired with them from the same company. My parents have a huge pot that all the neighbors bring items to chip in. They always do this around shrimping season. It usually makes for a fun time and a great meal
