KENNYWOOD is still better than any of those parks. Tickets are 37 bucks, but you can get discounts nearly every day of the summer if you look at the their community calendar. 25 to get in ride all day on 7/10 this year. Food is good, big Kiddieland section and lots of rides for younger kids to ride as well as a lot of Older rides. Also, they own a water park which is only 20 minutes from the one park. And another amusement park 30 minutes away geared toward young kids (*under 10) with Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. All in Beautiful Pittsburgh PA area. Where you can go and spend 500 on a week long trip for a family of 4 and still not see everything you want.

    But that's my 2 cents.

as for the O/P Kings Dominion and Carowinds are both owned by Cedar Faire Amusement Group LLC which owns Cedar Point. All Paramount Parks are owned by Cedar Faire, and relatively the same. Rides may be different, but virtually the same experience.

Kings Dominion does have some really decent rides there though. and lines tend to be shorter.

    Kings Dominion day trip

Thanks for the information. We took a day trip on Thursday to Kings Domnion. We picked up discounted tickets at AAA. We are not members of SECU. In any event we had a great time on all the rides and the water park. It was a fun day trip.
