I agree with you that the guys went through literal H***. And yes, she deserves the punishment for her actions. As far as the media goes in coverage, that 's what happens while you're in the spotlight. And if you think about it, the story of her on Fox IS her media coverage. And she will get more in the weeks to come. BUT, who wants to keep hearing about it over and over and over and over........Haven't we heard enough?

Oh yes, I do agree with that, I am tired of hearing about it, but I just don't think the media should take it easy on her cause she was the victim. Do I want to hear about it...not really, I will just change the channel.... but let her have the press follow her around for a while and make her life "inconvenienced" for awhile and feel the consequences of her actions

I bet Hannity and Combs will be interesting tonight. I wonder if the New Black Panther Party will come back on?

Actually that's a bad habit I got into when I was in high school. Being the normal pain in the posterior that I am, I started spelling words the British way and waiting for the teachers to mark it wrong. They didn't, and I got stuck with the habit.

Do you use "sod off", "bugger", and "shagging" as well?

She seems to have been looking for, to quote two young females I witnessed in Walmart attempt to, on purpose, get injured by a passing pallet jack, "Get my big ole fat check!"

She seems to be very good, or very bad since she's been caught, again, at thumbing her nose at the law:

    Assault or threat against gov't

Why should they? They swooped in, destroyed lives, claimed "victims" and moved on. They've done their jobs.

I've used shagging, but in the NC context. "Sod off" and "bugger", no. But then I don't curse**.

** Although I don't use it myself, I'm not prim about it. Unless, of course, a pretty girl swears like a longshoreman, which is like throwing mud on the Mona Lisa.

It does come in handy Clif.

Swearing is for those who can't think of anything intelligent to say.

Yeah. But I didn't mean in an intelligent conversation.

Mike Nifong had best learn the following phrase: “Would you like fries with that?”

The Duke Lacrosse players were harmed...greatly harmed...by this. They deserve to sue.

I can't for the life of me think of how anyone was similarly harmed by what Imus said.

Wasn't a statement on the harm that was done in any of those cases, but like the Imus case an apology is not going to cut it. Their will be lawsuits in the Duke Lacrosse case. You may even find a player that was a Senior last year and was not charged, but will have a lawyer that knows he can get money for the season being canceled.

As well they shouldn't. There are repercussions for lying about such a thing.

They cannot get money for the season being cancelled because of the vast number of OTHER problems with the team. ;)

I never doubt the craftiness of some lawyers and what they will file.

Who will pay the legal bills? As reported on the news estimates are the players defense cost $3-5 million.
