Check your peanut butter!!

Advice?!? If you can't spell, don't sue!

 

Thanks for the info on the peanut butter. I just checked my pantry and found a jar that had a product code beginning with "2111". I was glad to learn about the potential problem before anyone in my family was sickened from eating it. Thanks Again!!!

 

My friend's 3 year old was given peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at his daycare, the mother who brought the sandwiches in found out her peanut butter was contaminated and called the daycare immediately ... they've had at least 8 kids down with salmonella poisoning now ... (not in this area, dont worry). The poor 3 year old has been SO sick!!!

 

My mom had 2 jars with the "2111" in her pantry...one half gone, one almost gone! Thankfully nothing has happened to her or my sister's kids who eat it at "Nanney's" house. A co-worker had some and was sick all week before last..she actually went to the doctor's then, but they attributed to a stomach virus. She makes shakes each morning and puts a heaping TBSP of PB in it. Gotta love my Jiff! (although I buy whatever brand I have a coupon for when we have triples)
