My daughter wants Butterscotch (horse) that is at Target and Walmart. I told her that Santa was not a rich man
Seriously!!! But Lord knows if a had a little girl, she'd probably have one, those are SO cute!! I'm just trying REALLY hard to make this a cash Christmas. Too bad I've got champagne taste on a beer budget.
its like $255 for this horse and I have 2 toddlers...they be fighting over that darn thing. No Thanks... P.S I do agree...it is cute but would be outgrown in a year or so
'Tis true!! I've only got one, so there is no fighting over toys. But I have 3 neices who are all very close in age, I always have to keep that in mind when buying them something.
Well my daughter personally has been using our extra digital camera for about a year and she is just 5... so I did not feel like it was something she would throw away or get tired of and our spare camera was not "drop" safe or child friendly. Also disposable cameras are about $6 and then another $6 to develop.... We paid $52 for one time and then I can print her pictures off on my computer. Plus this one has hand held games and a video camera...So we are saving from the dispoable... and parents throw away far much more with some of these other toys! (and I can not take another Hannah Montana or High School Musical Doll in my house)LOL
lol Hey my sister in law tried to be funny and informed me butterscotch is on sale for $219 this week!!!!
so very glad that I have boys. NO Hannah Montana or Achey Breakey Mistakey up in my house....or High School Musical (bleck). 2 Nintendo DS Lites, Halo 3 for XBOX 360, couple of Hoodies, some shotgun shells for their rifle so we can go to the shooting/skeet range on Christmas Day and Christmas is done. Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails....:mrgreen:
My daughters want Butterscotch. I told them it cost two much. The five year old innocently shared that Santa can give it to her because he can make anything at his workshop. Maybe so but he won't be delivering Butterscotch to our house this year.
One of my sister's solved the "Santa can bring it issue" by saying she had to PAY Santa for the stuff. :? I haven't had to resort to that...............yet.
LOL ...too funny. Our daughters think alike. Its the darn commercials on Nogin and Disney that gets my girls going "mommy, can Santa get this for me.....Santa does have other children to think about
The commercials DO ruin it...they make you think you can't live without stuff. I remember when I was a girl how much fun and how exciting it was when the Sears Catalog came....oh goodness me and my sisters would look at that thing for hours!!!
I know, right??....I won't even let them near me when I am on the computer....looking over my shoulder....nosey nosey.....
Nope none of that here either, my daughter doesn't even own a barbie lol, so I have to think on the boy level. I don't have money this yr to get her anything, and it's hard for me. My family is taking care of that. She and my niece are getting very spoiled from my parents this yr. I still want to get my daughter a nintendo DS cause she has had her gameboy advance for 2 yrs and still plays with it everyday. I feel she has earned it. My parents have gotten the EBOX 360 for my daughter and my neice for their house cause they are there more. On top of the go cart that is big enough for adult to get into as well..I think they went to far..but they had a good yr and they want to share it with the girls. I do like the camera idea, but I past it up for the nintendo DS instead. I will hold out on the camera for her birthday next yr. I still haven't got the Nintendo cause I can't make up my mind to just get the bundle or just get the nintendo...trying to figure out what is worth getting. She wants for sure the Transformer game and that I can't get in the gameboy advance, but I can get it in the ninendo ds..grrrr. Sheri
