Not after you checkout without knowing the Advocate, you don't.

Maybe you need some good teaching on the subject of eternity and how, when you checkout of this physical life, you check-in someplace else, which begs the question, "where will I check-in and what will I experience"?

Good questions for the one serious about such things.

Last week's message was ok but the previous week was far better. Even though you thought the message wasn't as good, God's Word is amazing in that it can speak to people regardless of where they are at in life. Being a "Mature Christian" you can find something in a message that God wants to speak to you about for your life. God's Word is the bread of life - regardless if you are a new Christian or been a Christian for a period of time - it can speak to us to help us learn or grow in our life. If Pastor Matt's examples don't relate to you then find an example in your life that the scripture does relate.

His messages are good for everyday life. Sometimes I will take his message and dig into it deeper during my quiet times or I'll study something else. Sunday morning can't be our only growth time. No matter how deep or good the message is, we still need to study God's Word on our own. So we will grow in our personal relationship with God, not expecting the Pastor to cultivate the relationship for us. On top of that, who's to say the Pastor doesn't take something out of context - we need to make sure what we are taught lines up with the Word.

That could be debated, unless it is time for Wapner or your aluminum foil hat falls off and the mind control beams get to your brain.

Ask yourself the question why should one week be better than the other, if God is in both weeks?

The message was neither good or bad, it was a nothing message. "Nothing messages" don't offend nor do they challenge one to be unto God, a son. They can't. They are purposed by man's reasoning so as to not cause division in the ranks. They speak nothing of the cross of Christ, which is devisive, as all messages should at least, mention. Did you hear him mention anything of the cross of Christ?

Correction... God's word is not the bread of life, Jesus Christ alone, the WORD, is the Bread of Life. The spoken word needs be about presenting Him who will if entered to, change one's life.

Pastor Matts words should always be full of life ..or there should be reason for it. I personally don't hear any life in them. They may attract thousnds but it won't it be unto Christ they come. They will come and enter into c3, its program for their life.

So are many free 10 step pragrams offered by secular guru's. Why is c3 unique to you? Ok, so you get free coffee and donuts, right?

Eager to get to "Patience" mentioned in the "fruit of the Spirit", Sundays sermon text left out the most important verse from the passage from Galations that would have guaranteed sucess in obtaining it. I can tell you why he ignored it.

Galatians 2:20 (KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

When you do you will leave his assembly. Try this: Ask him if you can conduct a private study of the scriptures on your own with a few others. Ask as a test, I'll bet he will first discourage you.

To follow someone I would have to believe one would first want to know if the leader is going in the right direction, one that leads home.

I mean none of this as a spersonal attack on you. I hope you don't receive as such.

Yea thats a good scripture, but OH HOLY ORMLY, answer me this all knowing all powerful ormly please shed some of you perfect light on my question..

What the crap does that passage have to do with patience, He was speaking on patience.. So why would he throw out scripture that has nothing to do with patience? It would be irrelevant to the message.

But its ok, I'm sure you'll come back with some mind blowing, Awesome irrelevant scripture and shed some of your "UBER CHRISTIAN" knowledge to us just striving to be like ORMLY.. Oh Ormly tel me how to be like you, Maybe some day ill know enough of the bible and know "everything" there is to know about christianty to **** enough people off that they turn away from what you portray as being Christ-like. I must have mis- read the verse where it says go and make disciples for my name.. What it must of said was go and bible bash everyone to where they don't want anything to do with what you offer them. Man how could I have missed that.. IDK.

Where do you get off being so presumptious as to place "Christ" in part of your handle? Perhaps you got a real sweet spirit about you that somehow just isn't coming across; doesn't read well. Maybe it's the font style. I'll give you two outta three. That's, one.

Biscuitville. he leads the sermons. its the only way for him really, because the only thing he can actually stand to hear is the sound of his own voice.

There are so few "perfect" Christians in that church they can even use only one table and still have room for three more to sit down .....

Of course Ormly is still "ignoring" my posts so it does not matter to him/her ....

All I can say is it is a good thing Ormly was not around when Jesus was telling the crowd that "he who is without sin should cast the first stone" or there would have been some stones flung regardless ....

(Troll baiting is fun at times too)

I swear, I didn't do it! Not guilty. There I was minding my own business when outta no where there came a voice crying Or-r-r-m-m-l-e-e-e-ee and I said to myself, Self, that can be coming from only one place. Lo and behold, when I put my ear down to my laptop 4042 just popped up and was in rush hour mode. So, here I am, at the traffic light.

    Pretty good, eh?
