Church Merger?

Thank you Pirate that helps alot and I am not Ormly much younger but probably as provocative, in my own way.

 

All I'm saying emergent is ormly never gave it a chance to get to know me and my church before jumping all over me with his "Warren Group" junk. We are truly a church that is contemporary without loosing the message and holiness. I know ormly thinks that is impossible but the God I serve does impossible things all the time.

Pastor G at least you come on hear and try to interact with the community instead of deleting posts from your blog. May God bless your flock during the transition.

 

Ormly, it is not a poor question, you just don't have a good answer... could it be that we both know the answer and it is not positive? Fruit, ormly, fruit.... you will know them by their fruit... what fruit (salvations) have you brought to Christ? What rubies do you have in your crown? I think that is an excellent question. One that Jesus himself will one day ask you. Maybe you should think about your answer now instead of waiting for him to ask you later.

I do not believe that orm ever stated that. I do believe he was trolling for info and where to place you in the kingdom. We are in a battle of the ages, read Mt 24 again; do we not need to be cautious. We need to stand together if there is no leaven between us or in us. (I mean even Paul got into it with Peter.) Once we all determine that (no leaven), we can roll with it. I would not read any books but my bible and a few select authors. Narrow you say, YES, but few there be that find it, if you get my drift and nothing more is needed. I hope you will pray about all that has been said. We are Pastors that have a higher judgment on us. We cannot be moved by every wind of doctrine or change ie emergent\CGM all dressed up with the right words and scripture references, didnt Satan do that in the temptation, come on, angel of light and all that. We have sheep to tend too that I love with a passion and would die for but need to KNOW the Father and HIS PURPOSE for our eternal life. I could go on and on but will cut this short for time sake. I hope you will respond and everyone else too.

 

Oh please tell us what church you pastor. We all know where Pastor G is. Hopefully you are not the leader of the golden biscuit denomination that some accuse you of.

Really? That's what I hear about the Gospel of John and the Book of Revelation - can't be the same author, the writing style is too different.

I am sure you will all draw the wrong conclusions as to why I am leaving????? LOL and remember get into the REAL truth not a counterfeit gospel. and read Matt 24 please. go to Matt 6 where it says KNEW HIM. and look it up, originally

Emergent and Ormly, do you all know what you're sounding like? How many are going to get into the Kingdom you speak of, 144,000? If you aren't starting up some sort of cult, then PLEASE answer the simple questions we're asking about you and this gospel you're preaching. There is so much double talking going on with you two, it makes these images come to mind, (which is scary!)



My pastor speaks in everyday English and would be happy to answer any question about what he believes. Why won't you two do the same, since you want to be taken seriously by us measly old sheep.

 

What questions do you ask? What gospel? Be specific

 

Geez, there was less dancing on "Dancing with the Stars" tonight, LOL! I have never seen such a concerted effort to NOT answer a direct question as I have from two posters on this thread and I'll give you two guesses which ones. Unreal.
