The High school is suppose to open in 2010(?) but does anyone know when they are suppose to break ground on it?
I don't think that's a bad thing, driving is a privelege not a right - sems fitting it shouldgo to the seniors. I would hope that the seniors have a little more experience and brains than the younger classmen.
They will never let them walk to school, they will spend money bussing them. Heritage Farms right next to Cleveland Middle even has a sidewalk and opening in thefence that borders CMS - yet the bus picks up and drops off at Heritage Farms subd and Cornwallis, and then makes the next right into the school.
Don't count on it! I HATE going to pick-up in the afternoons.... those kids don not understand that you don't block the roadways, lot entrances etc....so traffic gets all backed up.......:x I usually go about 3:30 just to avoid them! And I've told my DD next yr when she drives to school - just take your time, let all the other idiots get out first, its better to get home late than to be in an accident. And then, once they're on the road, they drive fast and tailgating, start blowing their horns back and forth.....just gets on my nerves!
True, I almost got hit by a girl this morning turning left on a yellow going red light. I was going to make a right, but she zoomed through so I stopped. It was red by the time she got to it. And then she tailgated the car in front of her all the way down the road. Anybody's kid here drive an old *** brown Honda Civic? :lol:
i just realized that the farm house across from Myatt place looks empty. Is that on the property where the high school is being built?
yea I noticed the stakes over the weekend. I wonder if they are going to tear down that house or move it.
