You may be right. I have read all the comments and it seems like that would be a bad idea.

Right, and it would be nice if it stayed "a little different area" without all the traffic and congestion 40/42 has now.

Good idea and questions. No kids please, I'd go to relax and drink some good coffee ... not hear screaming kids.

It'd be nice to have a section of donated books, and magazines (a mini-library of sorts).... or find a way to lock down some CD players and provide individual music stations that way, also ... (as well as live music - always good stuff!) ... so people can create their own little worlds to get away in for awhile.

    A fireplace would be AWESOME.

No Coffe Shop. Just another Big Steve's

Forget coffee shops. Need another Big Steve's Bagel Shop in Clayton.

Yup... if I'm going to a coffee shop to enjoy a cup of coffee and maybe read the paper or flip through a magazine or chat with a friend... I don't want to hear children. I'd nix the childrens area idea....

How busy is the coffee shop @ 4042 especially during the week days? I rarely see any cars there. I cannot see a coffee shop staying open in McGees without their being something more to draw people in. Aside from moring commuter traffic and maybe some traffic occasional evenings for those who want a quite night out, who will your patrons be? Will that be enough to pay the bills? You could cater to the adult demographic but also maximize your business by offering something for the HUGE demographic of moms & young children during your weekday/daytime hours.

So not meaning to change the subject but...we really need a GOOD Italian restaurant up in the same area. Not a chain but a real, family owned one! The closest place is Veneros (which I like) but it is always too crowded and noisy!

Ditto for a good FULL SERVICE Italian place with wine/beer too!

personally their location isn't good, stuck in the corner like that..to much trouble to just go in a get a coffee.
    rush.
I do like the idea of one up this way 210/40. I would have stopped in last night after sitting in the traffic for over a hour from the wreck.
