Except the experts in the field tell you that you are incorrect in your beliefs and that your "right" infringes upon the rights of others by helping to perpetuate the spread and mutation of a know deadly virus. The science tells you that, but you want to follow your belief instead and call it "science" because to do other wise shows how flawed such a view is.
No answer on the actual scientific basis for such a belief? No studies to cite, no ongoing research indicating that vaccination is not necessary if you believe you do not need it?
JUL 20, 2021 WASHINGTON — Together, the American Hospital Association (AHA), American Medical Association (AMA), and American Nurses Association (ANA) released a public service announcement (PSA) today featuring their leaders urging the American public to ask questions, follow the science and get vaccinated. The PSA stresses that COVID-19 vaccines are a safe and effective way to protect you, your family and your community from the virus. AHA, AMA, ANA COVID-19 Vaccine PSA - English Language AHA, AMA, ANA COVID-19 Vaccine PSA - Spanish Language Today’s effort continues the work the three associations have done over the past year and a half to increase public acceptance of the essential actions to curb the spread of COVID-19. In February, the organizations released a PSA urging Americans to get vaccinated when it is their turn. Last year, they released several PSAs (HERE and HERE) urging the public to wear a mask, practice physical distancing and wash hands frequently.
Yes, in some cases, but you will not be likely to have to be hospitalized or die either. Wearing a mask will help reduce the spread potential too, but wait you oppose that as well.
So there is NO science to support your belief on "strong" immune systems being exempt from needing to be vaccinated ...
We all know what you’ve been doing on here for months, Jesse. It’s nothing short of diabolical at this point, and primarily due to your Libertarian ideology in which you believe that your personal “freedoms” should be held in higher regard than the greater civic good. When applied to a pandemic situation, your Libertarian views are the epitome of selfishness, not to mention deeply immature. We have had many times in this country when we all had to pull together for our individual and collective survival where our “personal freedoms” had to be set aside in order to accomplish those goals. You are too young to remember the kinds of sacrifices that sometimes need to be made in order to protect this country, but I remember the stories I heard from my relatives who fought in World War II and what every American had to do collectively during that war. And so they rationed food, and they turned steel into bullets, and they made sure that they blacked out their windows at night, and they did all of it because they knew EXACTLY what was at stake. And just imagine if during that war, Americans cried and balked like toddlers at bedtime. This pandemic is no different. We are at war with this virus, and you don’t get to go AWOL because you think that your “rights” are being “infringed” upon. This is a matter of survival, and sometimes survival means that you don’t have a “choice”. Grow up.
If he “believes” that he has a “superior immune system”, then it must be true. I’ve noticed that he never responds whenever a truth is revealed, or someone has caught his many errors in logic, or even just good ole plain, common sense.
I remember the oral polio vaccine being commercially available. There was no question as to whether people would take it and there was no long term effect knowledge either. The number of cases of paralysis was something like 15,000 per year, which some of the folks now would say is insignificant.
That’s the beauty of experiencing your older years. We generally have a much better basis for comparison later in life. The comparisons between the eras can sometimes be startling, and unnerving, but every American contributes to the zeitgeist of an era in some way. The problem with the current era is that we are sending a strong message of disunity and disorganization to other countries who could take advantage of our weaknesses on full display. In our past years, a message of unity acted as a powerful deterrent. The pandemic revealed otherwise.
There you go again. Lying your ignorant butt off. We all ??? Who the hell is we all ?? That’s right ACW & You. Quit blabbering nonsense thinking you speak for all. You’re the last one here to be speaking for all, with all the inflated BS and lies you babble on about. You seriously are a mental whack job. You assume you know everything and what’s right for everyone and how everyone should be living their lives because you tell them how. Shove it up that wrinkled fat butt of yours.
“We all” as in Americans WORKING TOGETHER during World War II to defeat our enemies. Remember that? Try to acquire some reading comprehension skills, little monkey. If you can’t understand the comparisons between American unity during World War II, and the current splintered disunity of our pandemic response, it’s not my problem.
BS,, you liar. My reading comprehension is spot on, unlike yours you lying hypocrite, as proven by you time and again here. Sorry you have issues understanding what the heck you are constantly babbling about. Its clear as day you are bumbling around backpedaling and trying to spin your way out of your ignorant post.
Perfect example of the dunning-Kruger effect ..... Dunning-Kruger Effect The Dunning-Kruger effect is a cognitive bias in which people wrongly overestimate their knowledge or ability in a specific area. This tends to occur because a lack of self-awareness prevents them from accurately assessing their own skills.
You’ve got more “babble” in you than a streaming brook. It’s called “analogy”, Sweetheart. It’s when you compare things. In this case I’m comparing today to a previous era (the1940s and 1950s) when Americans pitched in and got the job DONE instead of acting like whiny little babies. It’s when we fought a MAJOR WAR, and in the next decade, stood patiently in line to get the Salk vaccine to save our American children from the scourge of polio, instead of complaining like selfish, little, whiny brats about our “choices” and our “freedoms” and our asinine “right” to infect and kill other Americans. As usual, your vapid immaturity, and non-existent reasoning faculties are on full display here, and adds ZERO to any discussion on here.
