Nice post, but what has it to do with strippers and the Crazy Horse Gentleman's Club?

Wow, that sounds JUST like the sort of man I would want to be married to. NOT.

Oh yeah, baby get up there and let those men oggle you - I don't mind as long as you are keeping me in designer shoes.

Should we ban something before it gets worse?? IMO, a big fat YES!!!

You are noted for comparing facts of other situations in people's posts. Let us not do that and stick to the subject. Yes, being poor could lead to prostitution, but we are not talking about being poor, we are talking about strippers.......You can justify it as much as you want but it will never make it moral or admirable. Yes it is a choice one makes, their life, their desire, their consquences....But just like they have the right to like it, do it and justify it and make light of those who do not agree, others have the right to disagree and state why.

    Lets see:

    Ban fast & fatty food
    Ban TV
    Ban alcohol
    Ban parties
    Ban dancing
Ban almost anything that is fun or entertaining

Well we could just spend our whole time in Church in this fascist society of yours.

More info - sounds like they were in trouble!

Clayton — The operators of a Clayton strip club were facing fines and a 10-day suspension of the club's license due to lewd conduct by dancers before fire destroyed the club this weekend, state officials said.
Alcohol Law Enforcement agents conducted an undercover investigation at the Crazy Horse strip club between January and April 2007 after complaints to the agency.
Violations included two incidents in which employees participated in sexually explicit conduct, said Jeff Lassiter, with the Raleigh ALE office. Several employees also consumed alcohol while working.
Crazy Horse workers gave patrons memberships in the private club on the spot, ignoring the required three-day waiting period, Lassiter said.

My post was directed to address why Jesus reached out to sinners in such places. This is an example of a worldly place where lusts are sought for money. Many folks, however would simply right off those who attend such establishments as hopelessly lost. Christ, knowing the heart, can reach anyone anywhere to forgive them and offer salvation. When I have passed by there in the past, my heart felt sorrow for those who were tempted and have given in. It's a weakness that obviously a lot of men struggle with and some women as well who feel the need to make money by selling their bodies for visual stimulation. Yet, we can say that no matter the debt, our creditor can forgive those debts. That's a wonderful thing. I have never been to such a place myself, but we all know temptations in one form or another. Being both God and Man, Jesus could, too. Although He was free of sin, he understood humanity by experiencing humanity. What I take from that verse is that we can never close the door on any one person no matter their sin, because Christ would not.

This can be summed up... Hate the sin, not the sinner.

Then again, most would believe those who attend are neither hopeless nor lost.

Clif, he obviously has never been to one, at least a more upscale one.

But it is easy to cast stones at things that you don't understand.

I've been to the fancy ones and the not so fancy ones (in my young and crazy days) and I understand them pretty well. To me, the people in these places represent the most pathetic people in society. They all deserve each other. Men who have to pay to see naked women, and women who have to take their clothes off to make money are all losers. Really a sad bunch of people.

Oh, I don't know, I can think of about an hundred types of people more pathetic.

The losers are the ones who think they have the right to sit in judgement of these people.
