Cool, thanks guys. Hey Harley, you know my DH, do ya think he would love the grinder? It will give him and your DH one more thing to talk about (like they really need that  )
Hmmmm.....need to find me someone that wants to part with just some plain ground deer meat. I love mixing it with other ground meats (beef, pork, and veal) for my meatloaf. Craig
Ok, looking at the site now, anyone have any suggestions on what type of grinder to get? i never knew there were so many different types.
They had grinders at the Clayton Wal Mart a few weeks ago.But I have'nt been back since, they may have sold out.
KitchenAid makes a nice grinder attachment for its mixers. Works great!! got it at Kohl's last year. Bout $50.. 8)

We were recently given some deer meat, but I'm not sure how to cook it? Any of you hunters or hunter's wives have good recipes to offer?
I guess its the back/shoulder? We had some steaks the other night and they were pretty good. So maybe chunks like stew beef etc.
That book we have has some great recipies in it! Venison Beef Stew is made just like you would normally make it. Throw in some veggies. Look up recipies online if you can't get the book at Borders
