Bingo.....plus I really think skin cancer, etc. is all in your complexion. My sister is fair like my Dad was and she can't tan and gets skin cancer (like my Dad did) and I'm darker like my Mom and she's never had any skin problems and still works in her yard/garden all day in the summer without any sunscreen and she's almost 77.

I love lounging on the beach every weekend, in the sun. I am not sure how I survived before having my beach house. Ahhhhh.....be here before we know it!

Thanks for the explaining Dr. Ricco. Shame she had to feel she needed to steal from you instead of just asking you for a loan on her future checks. Know what you mean about 20 minutes of tanning peace. Sitting in your dentist chair is all the peace I get all year!

Dr.R needs to check my acct. I paid my acct off and kept getting bills. I called and "she found it"

My thought then was stealing but I kept it to myself. It was only 44.00.

I hate a thief. Go Dr. R! Glad you caught the situation.

    Oh and happy tanning.

Ok checking in. Doc getting a tan did not damage his ability to be a Dentist. Nor did it affect any of his staff or any of the other Dentists.
Had a tooth pulled yesterday! Yeah! It was a bad tooth and I shall not miss it in the least. I am not too crazy about the hole that is left, but hey, at least it is not right in the front.
I got the gas stuff an then some novocaine and I was fine. I hardly had any pain at all. Today I feel a tad bit sore but that is it. No Advil, no nothing. I'm tough. hee hee hee
Dr. Riccobene said hi and gave me the gas – I talked a lot. Doc Rigsby pulled the tooth and it was a pretty uneventful extraction –the fun was after.
I took a pain pill when I got home, as was suggested but I never should have…. hey –who knew I was going to have a reaction to the hydrocodone. I was happy for about an hour then I was very VERY nauseous, (ok I yakked – repeatedly). I was sick for about four hours and then all of a sudden, I was ok. I ate some crackers and went to bed. I am never taking a pain pill like that again. I felt awful. The tooth was fine and just a bit sore but my tummy was a mess. Lol. Someone remind me not to take those pills again.

So here I am at work and I wanted to give you all an update:
The Crooked secretary did not affect the quality of dental care.
The Doctors tanning did not affect the quality of dental care
Rest easy my fellow 4042.ers. You are safe.

Later I will put my tooth under my pillow and see what happens.

It's used to counteract the side effects of nausea that some pain medications have on people.

Ok, so if i understand right, you would take one drug to be able to take another drug - wouldn't it just be easier and cheaper to change the pain med
instead of taking another drug to be able to take the pain med?

Any pain med upsets my stomach. I took it when I had a procedure done on my leg and really needed something for the pain.

I had my wisdom teeth out years ago and learned the pain of Percocet the hard way. I dread ever having to take pain meds,

I forget the name (and I should try my best to remember or have the doc check my records) but I was prescibed a pain med after a c-section that gave me NIGHT TERRORS. Never again. Last time I just skipped the narcotics and took ibuprofen. Yes, I am that tough. ;)
