Divorce Lawyer

    Nothing wrong with any of those recommendations, although if the case is in Johnston County you should stay away from an out of county lawyer. Familiarity with the judges is as important as knowing the law (for the same reason, I wouldn't hire a Johnston County lawyer to go to Wake.)

    www.nclawspecialists.org lists those attorneys statewide who have qualified as specialists in various fields, including in family law. Qualification is based on passing an exam, experience, and peer review and recommendation. There are 5 lawyers in Johnston County, 4 in Smithfield and 1 in Garner, who are certified. Any of them would be good choices also.

    Sorry, I just went back and saw the "most of them" part. Really sad. Sad for the next woman in his life too.

    The atty I work for recommends all domestic issues like this to and attorney in Raleigh by the name of Rick Lovett. He is in the book. I am so very sorry about this, I wish you the best......
