Does anyone know who will sponser an FFA officer to help...

    I am a senior at WJHS and I am a FFA officer (secretary). I am really involved with the FFA, and I am looking for someone who will sponser me to help me attend the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. I have never had the oppurtunity to go because the money has never been right and since it is my final year at West, I am going to put a little more effort into going...anyone have any ideas? Please help.

    you might could try your local tractor supply companies, or other horse trainers etc...

    I know this is a different organization but what about trying the state 4-H office. They maybe able to at least point you in the right direction.

    Another idea is to talk to the Agriculture department at NC State

    My son went last year and had a great time. He went to family, friends, businesses. Told them what he was doing and many were willing to give between $25 and $100. Get enough of those and it adds up. Other than spending money (he used his own) he raised enough to cover all expenses.

    So was I, and I was the pres of the FHA. Ok, it was really a popularity contest anyway. I just joined for my friend. With my nose ring, fire engine red hair (and half of it shaved) I'm SURE I looked the part!

    I was not in any of the above mentioned clubs.


    The only club I was in was the Thesbian Club.

    I was in FFA, FHA...and a few others!

    It more about socializing than actually participating...LOL
