I agree with all of you who love the Leapsters. We got my son one at 4 yrs old. He was certainly an outdoor type of kid, running, jumping, etc and not one to sit and read books or play games. He still loves playing outside, but he also loves his leapster. He's now 6, and I swear he learned more from his Leapster than he did from me Now, my daughter who is 4 asked for one from Santa, so we were able to get her a pink one. I really didn't get her a pink one for sexist reasons, but more to the point of who is playing with their own leapster. Also, we've not had any screen problems, or problems with batteries being drained. I would highly recommend the case, as well as buying headphones. My biggest tip is to get headphones geared for little children. I got each of my kids headphones from Fisher-Price and they are perfect for their head size, right tension, etc.
