You are crazy (hey you asked to be called that). Everybody has there own budget and reasoning. Two stores at Crabtree sell them for reasonable prices and they are beautiful......Debs and Dillards. Your daughter loved the dress you bought her and that's what counts. Sherry
It's senior year . . . we didn't have a budget. That's why I get up and go to work every day . . . to spoil the child  Now if I had 2 daughters it would be a different story. We would be hitting Craigslist again.
That was my idea this time. We paid 1/2 of that last year and she actually wore the dress three times. She is a Senior this year and my only daughter and she will at least wear this one twice, I just wanted a fair deal from someone I have purchased from and recommended before and could not beleive the owner would be this way.
Well if you are crazy I'm crazier. We spent over $600 for my daughters dress and she was a princess. And I sent 2 to the prom that year. I agree its Senior year and that's why I get up and go to work every day.
Oh no, there's more to it than that. There's flowers for his date, limo (usually split between a bunch of kids), haircut, tickets, dinner . . .
You go girl!! If she had picked out a $600 dress I guess I would have paid that much (and NEVER let hubby find out . . he was in shock at $400). You only live once! I can't wait for her to get married. Wedding dress shopping will be so much fun!
Good one, I forgot pictures which can be upwards of $70. The girls have dress, hairstyle, hair accessories, jewelry (I paid $43 for a pair of earrings because they matched the dress so well), shoes, manicure, pedicure, their part of limo, garter, purse . . I know I'm forgetting something here. Oh yeah, I forgot tanning.
:iagree: Didn't think of all that.. Still! beats a $600 dress any day! And Lord knows the stress that comes with picking one out!
Yep, if you have a girl going to prom it takes alot to get them ready but it is worth it. Shoot, tanning starts early. KellBell turned my daughter onto a tanning salon that she loves. We were lucky last year. One boy's parents paid for the whole limo. If you are a parent of a child going with mine this year please feel free to make the same offer as the boy's parents did last year.:jester::mrgreen: Sherry
