Draft House not all it's cracked up to be?

Me either, I'm a happy, loving, drunk....and loud, but I'm like that sober too. LOL

 

I have been there once when it first opened. New places usually have some kinks to work out when they are first open. I didnt see any problems or kinks. It was run smoothly the food was good and the place was quiet and relaxing. It was even full on both sides. I dont blame CDH to toss someone out if they are causing problems. Thats very respectful for the other customers who comes and tries to enjoy a night out with family and friends. That person should be glad the cops was not called to the restaurant. I am in the restaurant buisness as well and I see a great place when I went.

 

Why didn't you just say "my mistake, we're all here, put us on the list". Problem solved. Try that next time.

People who fill their kids' entire lives with smoke don't have a clue anyway, so its no surprise they would take their kid to a bar.

If you drag your kid around everywhere you go with a cigarette hanging out of your mouth...

You can watch the local game at home, people go to a bar with the NFL package to watch games they can't watch at home. My only experience at the Draft House was a good one. If only you could please get some individual remote speakers so that each table can hear their game of choice. Again, if I wanted to hear the Panther's game I would stay home. Much applause for any attempts to remove smoke and riff raff!!

 

I still haven't had a chance to go - but my husband & son went & brought me back a wonderful takeout meal. I'm liking the sounds of this place better & better. No smoke, no trouble makers, good food, beautiful atmosphere & a friendly wait staff - what more could you ask for?

i've never been asked to leave any bar. i agree those ppl that were asked probably deserved it, but i've heard a few stories of that not being the case. i probably will still go back, i don't hate the place. all i'm saying is i'm a total beer nut and bar enthusiast and i was/am a little disappointed with how the place is turning out. jeez, ease up on me

Hey Ms. harleygirl!! Great meeting you & yes you are a celeb. @ the DH.

Ms/Mr Variousgood...........if you heard other stories about being asked to leave I am sure you are not hearing the entire truth escpecially if the ones that were asked to leave were telling it to you. MGMT has asked more than a few to leave. Reasons as stated b4 in earlier post all the "bad" people that have been kicked out & tresspassed from everywhere else around here ar now no longer allowed @DH. Remember this is all for the safety of our customers & our staff. Other have been asked to leave due to their behavior.......not paying bill, starting a fight etc.etc.etc. Remember you do no work there so you really do not know what goes on day to day like we do. There are plenty of people who think that b/c they have a designated driver that the over 21 does not apply to them & they have a comment to make. We want the DH to be the home town "bar" so to speak so that is why we try to make it as happy & safe as possible for all of you. Not trying to harp on you but you did post the word SUCKS which was not very nice. DH does not suck we are not perfect but we try really hard.

It is just hard to believe your posting when everyone else here hase had such a great time there with no problem. What other bars have you been asked to leave from, for real? i have heard that a few of the locals who were barred from our local bars have tried to make TDH a new home have repeated their past performances at other bars and have been kicked out of there too.

I am just wondering maybe you are a manager from another Restaurant in the 4042 area? Could that be a possibility? You have alot of negativity & it seems hostility towards the DH. Just a thought.

It's great you are passionate about working at the DH and mostly your posts about that allegiance have been positive. I'm just not sure that this type of post does much to promote the positive image that I'm sure Sanguine and TrustMe (I think that's their names) would want out on this discussion board.

I know it's a public forum, but when you represent a business and have an interest in seeing that business grow, you might want to hold back on accusations like this.

Anyway, I haven't had the opportunity to visit DH yet. I'm not real sure where it is. I know that sounds crazy but I can get lost in my own house....LOL..... :shock: It sounds like a very friendly and family oriented place to a degree. Is it kind of like that place over on Aversboro Road called........oh now I forgot the name........yes, I get lost and I forget........OH YEAH! Judd's. Is it kind of like that?
