Clinton's lawyers maintain that it's unclear whether Clinton was even talking about the Dec. 28 meeting when he said "I don't know." Since he had claimed not to remember any meeting after Christmas, it's possible the "I don't know" referred to their last meeting before Christmas, where he and Lewinsky in fact didn't discuss her subpoena.


He said on many occasions that he "Didn't remember ever being alone with Monica Lewinsky" as well.
I think ol Billy boy has Mr. Reagan beat - I didn't find his womanizing funny at all, but it sure was scarey.

As I said, since Ronny, the excuse has become acceptable.

 

It will be interesting to see what may happen if the US Attorney General actually investigates this case. Last I heard was mention of it last week, before the rape charges were dropped.

 

They had one of the defense attorneies (sp) on GMA yesterday, and he said that he had requested federal investigation into Nifong's actions concerning the handling of this case.
