    I will agree with Uber...they are slow. Also not always that on top of things. I gave them my ex's address in VA, and they were looking for him in NC, so it took almost a year before they finally got everything squared away.

    How do they look for them? How do they know if they move, get a job, etc?

    Well, here's what I know. Up until now, my CS case has been handled and enforced by the Johnston Co Clerk of Court, but according to them, in January a new law takes effect and they will no longer enforce CS cases.

    The lady in Smithfield told me that CSE can garnish wages, has access to employer records and can withhold tax returns (all things that the clerk can't do) for past due support. She said that if she personally had a CS case, she'd rather CSE handle it for her?

    So I guess I'll be filing an application for assistance from them by the end of the year.
