Fill'em Up - Gas Going UP UP UP

Heard on the radio traffic was backed up on S Saunders st, due to traffic getting cheap gas thru there....:lol:

 

At 4:00 Spirit, BP (on 42) and Howard's (on Barbour Mill) were 4.19, 4.11 and 4.29, respectively.


And Howard's was out of regular.

 

Just paid $3.79 a gallon at the HESS at Jone's Sausage a little over an hour ago and did not have to wait in line.

Driving down Crabtree after 2pm I saw $4.04 up by the Angus Barn and every station down to I440 was $3.99 a gallon except for the Shell by the mall which was $3.86

 

what about that gas station over by mcgees crossroads that was always cheap?
I am on my way home shortly and I need to know where I can get affordable gas.......

coming out of raleigh.. what happened with BJ's?

 

they've been packed all day. lines etc - Redsky says they're out of reg. gas

I got gas this morning at the BP beside Bojangles on Hwy. 42 for $3.69 a gallon. On my way home, the gas at that same station was $4.19. This is crazy.

 

Both the Hess on 42 and on 70/Powhatan had run out of regular unleaded this afternoon. They were charging 3.62 which is what it has been for awhile.

 

Rip off...

Passed on the way home.. The Crown on the corner of Amelia Church and 70.. $4.62 for regular. The kangaroo across from the Shell out on Auburn-Knightdale on 70 was only $3.64 and it was packed.

Prices just went down at shell, 4.19 to 3.99, but Shell stinks in my car, I like Hess or BP, I get much better mileage.:cheers:

 

Up and down Brightleaf Blvd in Smithfield tonight all the prices were in the high $3.50's to $3.60's.

 

5110 Market and Cafe and Popeyes on 96 Highway were both at 4.29 today around 6pm. Popeye has 4 pumps and 3 were already out of gas.

 

What? How can three pumps be out of gas and the fourth one Not? They all feed from the same tank underground. I think he just put the three out of service and work off of one pump to be under control for himself. Too funny

 

I drove from Brevard in the mountains all the way home today. It is no better anywhere else. Stations running out of fuel, lines galore and the like. All over what? The refinery being shut down for two days? Am I wrong? Maybe but who knows.

 

I think some gas stations are rationing and closing off pumps saying they are out but I don't really believe they are out of gas.
