I used to sing ALL THE TIME when I was little. The radio was always playing at my house or in our car. I remember one time singing loudly in the back seat, "Born to slave! Born to slave!" I sang so often my parents usually just tuned me out but on this occasion my dad said, "What? They guy is saying, "Walk This Way!" I was probably all of ten years old.

That just made me think of another one.
I was in 4th grade at summer camp however old you are then. One day I was singing Jimmy Buffet's "Margaritaville". When I sang, "Looking for my lost shaker of salt" my friend said, "he's looking for his lost chigger saw." I said no he isn't and what is a chigger saw anyway?"
She said she didn't know but that is what he was saying. She was convincing, I didn't know what a margarita was back then and I thought it was stupid he was looking for his salt anyway. We sang her version over and over again all summer long.
