I can't tell you how many positions I have held where I knew tons more than my supervisor... And that is just smart business in some cases. If they can handle the "business" stuff, then I can do the work and we all look good - see? Maybe he did not get the job because of ego... There is no "i" in team you know.
Lately, we have had to call on the 50/210 EMS several times and they have been fast and efficient each time. They are a great bunch of people! Thanks to all of them who have helped my family in our time of trauma.
and a BIG THANK YOU to the CVFD for allowing the JOCO Bd of Election to use the building 2-3-4 or more times a year. (Remember many of you VOTE there!!) :hurray:
Thank you to all of you who put your lives on the line each and every day to serve your community and ask nothing in return. You do not get the credit you deserve! You are all heros.
Thats what I thought! Elected by their peers! This says it all. Thank you and all fire fighters for your service to our communities. I believe all of our 4042 veterans saw through this original post.
VERY good idea. I bet it would sell like hotcakes since it would be full of beefcakes  I volunteer to do the photography!
I would buy a calendar - some of those guys are CUTE! and yes I have needed their services a few times and I always thought everyone was terrific. Even the time I had a beginner and a more experienced man showed up in his own car to help out. thanks! (But i do not understand how two people transported in the same ambulance got the exact same bill each as I got for a one person transport. Yes that is taking meds and services into account. )
:iagree::iagree::iagree: Thank you for this. As a husband of a cop it's always good to have those who serve and protect us (fire, ems, police etc.) get acknowledged for what they do every day to help others. (The firefighter gods agree...there is an engine blaring by as I type!). :hurray:
I also have to give you men and women , firefighter , chiefs , police , ems and others a great BIG THANK YOU for what you do ! Thank goodness i have only ALMOST had to call CVFD to my house , almost . With 4 children , 1 of them being my preemie baby boy , who is now 17 months and healthy . I freak out about everything and its scary but so wonderful knowing you all are right down the road from me and i know you guys would be here in a jiffy . So thanks from our family ! We appreciate all your hard work , you really don't get the praise you deserve for what you do . To most of you its just your job , but to us its much more then that . :grouphug:
