No, you're just forgetting what day and age we live in. Alot of employers don't advertise in the paper anymore. They go to monster.com, hotjobs.com, or triangletrader where they can list for next to nothing and peruse a bigger pool of applicants - esp for a technical job.
The library is at least 15 miles from my house, my car gets 20-22mpg. I also have a son entering high school who is taking all honors classes and uses the internet quite a bit for school work/projects. Would you like me at your house daily or do you think 19.99 a month is cheaper than the gas to get us to/from the library and your house?
You didn't address the last part of my question. Subsistence fishing is a personal choice, and I don't see how it impacts you in any way. We're not talking about welfare recipients here, just people who want to fish for food. Telling them their priorities are wrong seems more busybody than old school.
I'm going fishing for "food" this weekend! (weather permitting) <cross your fingers for spanish, king or dolphin, hell any fish will do>
back to the original question - i believe that you can fish at the pond on Cornwallis without a license as it is a private pond that charges $2 to fish all day (at least i hope it is, that where i was fishing before i renewed my license a couple weeks ago that expired a year ago:lol Seriously though i believe that fishing on any private pond or lake is allowed without a license.
Of course it doesn't impact me but hardly any of the material on here does.......I was just making discussion.
Cornwallis Rd, right beside the race track, you can see the big pond as you cross over the bridge at the bottom of the road, but go to the top of the hill and there is road there with a drop box leading back to both ponds.
I get where you are coming from. I guess I am saying that in my home there is a justifiable *need* and the cost would be the same if not more to commute to the internet. I am also not on public assistance, I'm just poor. FWIW - I think cell phones are an unnecessary luxury - but we have discussed that awhile back already.
Most of the crap we all have are luxuries that often gets confused for essentials. If I really tried, I could cut my bills in half just on BS.
